Perry Singleton is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. He is also a Senior Researcher at the Center for Policy Research.
His research interests are in labor, public, and health economics. His work explores the effects of health on labor supply, productivity, marriage, and disability benefit receipt. His work also explores the effect of disability benefits on labor supply and health investment. His research is published in top field journals, including the Journal of Human Resources, the Journal of Public Economics, and the Journal of Law and Economics.
Professor Singleton earned his Ph.D. in economics at the University of Maryland and his B.S. in finance at the University of Illinois.
